This bread is too good and needs to be shared... I tried the recipe by Frollemente and I can't stop making it. I already made three loafs, brought it to neighbors and family and everybody loved it. When I cut it I at least eat two slices but I really need to work on my will power to not eat a third one. It's addictive. It's perfect with butter and jam but also with cheeses or cold cuts. It's so easy, no knead bread that can be prepared in one day. This bread has a crunchy crust, soft inside and texture from the seeds. I made it with sourdough but you can make it with yeast too (2 g if dried, 5 g fresh, I haven't tested it though).
INGREDIENTS: (1 loaf 8*5 inches)
500 g bread flour
430 g water
150 g sourdough
120 g seeds
10 g salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
Dissolve the sourdough into water
Add the flour and start mixing for a few minutes
Add the salt
Add the seeds
Let it rest for 30' and then start to give strength to the dough with stretch and folds every 30' for the next 2 hours (4 times)
Put it into a clear container with a lid and wait till it doubles
Transfer the dough into an oiled sandwich bread mold
Let it rest till it almost doubles again
Bake for 45' at 446F/230C
Let me know if you had the same issue where you couldn't stop!
